	Seminar 1 - 10.30am - 11.15am Forklift Licensing - the Old and the New Steve Hughes, AIMM Industrial Training With forklift operation now deemed "high risk", a new forklift licensing system will be implemented from January 1 2012 that includes a more complex licence test. The AIMM's training manager Steve Hughes provided comprehensive details of the current and the new proposed forklift licensing system as part of the national WHS harmonisation program.
	Seminar 2 - 11.30am - 12.15noon The model Work Health and Safety Act, regulations and codes Aaron Anderson, Norton Rose The model Work Health and Safety Act and associated Regulation are set to become law from 1 January 2012. While the details of the Model Act have been settled, the draft regulations and priority codes of practice have been released for public comment. It is critical for business to commence implementation of appropriate changes so that compliance can be achieved. This session provided practical guidance to business on achieving this outcome.
	Seminar 3 - 12.30pm - 1.15pm Efficient Digital Prototyping Jeff Gale, AEC Systems Manufacturers today need to support their customers' design processes more closely than ever. Digital Prototyping brings together design data from all phases of the product development process into a single digital model and eliminate wasted effort from the recreation of data resulting in huge cost savings.
	Seminar 4 - 1.30pm - 2.15pm Partnering with Government to grow your business! Paul Hodgson, Enterprise Connect Success in business has a lot to do with making powerful connections and getting the right advice. Paul Hodgson, from Enterprise Connect an Australian Government initiative backed by industry, provided an insight into programs and grants available to assist your business.
	Seminar 5 - 2.30pm - 3.15pm Building Fire Safety - Are you compliant? Andrew Bailey, Queensland Fire & Rescue Inspector Andrew Bailey from the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service delivered a step-by-step guide on how to become QFRS compliant and what industry needs to know about Building Fire Safety in Queensland.
	Seminar 6 - 3.30pm - 4.15pm The Pathway to Harmonised Work Health and Safety Laws Julia Collins, Safe Work Australian Presented by Julia Collins, Director Model Legislation at Safe Work Australia, this seminar explained how harmonisation will impact business, including the key elements of the Model Work Health & Safety Act, as well as the draft model Regulations and Codes of Practice.
